About 11:50am today, Sunday 25 October 2020, Police received information regarding an incident being responded to by St John Ambulance at the Bald Head Walk Trail in Torndirrup, near Albany.
Information received was that hikers had located a man collapsed on the walking trail. It is believed the man, who is aged in his 40s, was walking the trail with another family member.
Albany Police, St John Ambulance and Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel attended the scene.
The man was located unresponsive. Emergency first aid was provided, however the main died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
