Police have charged a man after an alleged evade police incident in Reedy Creek this morning.
At 2.00am officers attempted to intercept a station wagon on Gemvale Road after noticing the vehicle had severe damage.
It will be alleged the car eventually stopped before reversing into the police vehicle, causing damage to the police car and fleeing the scene.
Officers then pursued the vehicle into bushland off Old Coach Road in Reedy Creek.
Just after 3:00am the vehicle was again seen driving along Gemvale Road and once again travelled towards bushland off Old Coach Road.
As additional officers attended the scene, one police vehicle lost traction and rolled in bushland.
Two officers were transported to hospital for observation but have since been released without physical injuries.
At around 5.45am police took a man into custody on the Pacific Motorway at Robina.
A 25-year-old Worongary man has been charged with two counts each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and fail to comply with requirement to stop a vehicle and one count each of of drink driving (BAC 0.126%), failing to provide a specimen for testing and unauthorised dealing in shop goods.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on July 1.
