Police re-appeal for information regarding missing man – Maroubra Beach

Police are re-appealing for help from the public in their search for a man who went missing in Sydney’s east last weekend.

Eui Chul Suh, aged 82, was last seen at Maroubra Beach, about 4pm on Sunday 2 August 2026 in the carpark at South Maroubra beach.

Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command, with the assistance from PolAir commenced a search operation to locate Eui.

Eui is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of slim build, with white/grey hair and black eyes.

He was last seen wearing a navy jacket, green trackpants and black sneakers and a white cap.

Acting Inspector Jamie Zahra from Eastern Beaches Police said police are appealing to anyone who was at South Maroubra Beach last Sunday afternoon and may have seen the man walking towards the beach, or has dashcam footage, to contact police.

“The image, while of poor quality, shows what Mr Suh was last seen wearing – police are hoping the photo might prompt witnesses to come forward,” A/Insp Zahra said.
