Police release CCTV vision after investigation into public place shooting – Chester Hill

Detectives have released CCTV vision following an investigation into a public place shooting in Sydney’s west earlier this year.

Shortly after 10.30pm on Thursday 12 March 2026, emergency services were called to Boundary Road, Chester Hill, following reports of a brawl.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were told about 15 to 20 people were fighting before two people were shot. They all left the scene before police arrived.

A short time later, police were on Ferndell Street, Guildford, when they located a black sedan being driven in a dangerous manner.

When it allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated before it came to stop nearby.

Police approached the vehicle to speak to the occupants and located two men – aged 27 and 24 – suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

They were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to a hospital in a stable condition before being released.

A third man – the driver of sedan – was spoken to by police and left the scene pending further inquiries.

A crime scene has been established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV vision of the incident and two vehicle of interests – black Toyota Hilux followed by a red Toyota Camry depicted after it left Boundary Road, Chester Hill.
