Police are reappealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south.
Shihyao – also known as Kurt – Chiu, aged 31, was last seen about 10.40pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026 on Hirst Street, Turella.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Kurt’s welfare.
He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair.
Kurt was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark coloured long pants, white shoes and reading glasses.
He is known to frequent the Maroubra, Waterloo and Turella areas.
Following inquiries, police believe Kurt may be in the Malabar area.
