Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Jimboomba

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Jimboomba this afternoon.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 2:10pm, a motorcycle was travelling north along the Mount Lindsay Highway, when it left the roadway and crashed.

The rider, a 52-year-old Greenbank man, sustained critical injuries, and died shortly after the accident.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing to any witnesses, particularly a second motorcyclist on an orange bike, seen in the area at the time, to contact police.
