A motorcyclist has died after a single vehicle crash in the Wide Bay area this morning.
Initial inquiries indicate around 8am the 62-year-old Bundaberg man was travelling along Gin Gin Road in Moolboolaman towards Mount Perry and hit a kangaroo.
The rider was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene a short time later.
Anyone who was travelling in the area this morning and may have further information is asked to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators attended today.
