A man has died following a single vehicle crash near Tamworth this morning.
About 1.30am today (Thursday 13 July 2023), emergency services were called to the New England Highway, Kootingal, following reports of a single vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District arrived to find a motorcycle had crashed into a guard rail.
The 20-year-old male rider was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and police are investigating the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
