The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is investigating a serious crash at Alexandra Hills overnight.
Initial investigations indicate around 6.30pm, a motorcyclist was traveling east along Finucane Road when it collided with a Mitsubishi sedan at the Dawson Road intersection.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Cleveland man, died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the sedan were treated for shock by Queensland Ambulance Service personnel.
FCU investigations are continuing.
