A 74-year-old Bapaume man has died following a crash that occurred in Applethorpe on Friday, December 1
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash, however initial investigations indicate the man’s car left the road just after 12pm and hit a tree.
The man was transported to Stanthorpe Hospital in a critical condition then flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries yesterday, December 4.
Investigations are continuing and witnesses are urged to come forward.
