A man has died today as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic crash on Monday, March 23 in Arundel.
Around 5.30pm a sedan was travelling west on Brisbane Road and turned left into Captain Cook Drive before the driver has lost control and the vehicle has hit a power pole. It had been raining just prior to the crash.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 71-year-old Parkwood man, was transport to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he died early Friday morning.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating.
