A man has died following a two vehicle traffic crash in Booyal this afternoon.
Initial enquiries indicate around 2.30pm a white 2014 Toyota yarris was travelling south along the Bruce Highway on approach to Christensen Road when a collision occurred with a grey 2022 Toyota Hilux utility travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver and sole occupant of the yarris, a 57-year-old-man Brisbane City man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The occupants of the utility sustained minor injuries only and were transported to hospital.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators will prepare a report for the Coroner and are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash, or the moments leading up to it to come forward
