Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Georgetown

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single vehicle crash, south of Georgetown today, November 8.

Initial investigations indicate the Nissan Patrol left Forsayth Road and rolled onto its roof. The car was discovered by a passer-by just after 10am.

A 73-year-old Georgetown man, who was the driver and the sole occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene.

Anyone with information that could assist with the investigation, or who might have seen the vehicle in the lead up to the crash, is urged to contact police.
