A man has died following a car and motorcycle traffic crash in Mount Cotton early this morning.
At 1.20am, police will allege a car was travelling southbound along Mount Cotton Road and collided with an oncoming motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old Birkdale man was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition and was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old Mount Cotton man was not injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate.
