The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Nanango this morning, 26 August.
At approximately 7.20am, a Ford Courier dual cab utility was travelling on the D’Aguilar Highway when the driver lost control and left the road, colliding with a tree.
The driver, a 68-year-old Wooroolin man, was treated for critical injuries on the scene but declared deceased a short time later.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and officers are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or footage to contact police.
