The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash in Trinity Beach last night.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 8pm, a car was travelling along Moore Street when it lost control going around a roundabout and struck a small shed near the driveway of a nearby property.
The driver of the vehicle, a 39-year-old local man, was transported to Cairns Hospital where he died this morning.
The male passenger of the vehicle was not physically injured.
Investigations are continuing.
