Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Urangan

A man has died following a fatal traffic crash involving an e-scooter and an electric skateboard at Urangan on the evening of 15 July.

At around 7pm, an e-scooter and electric skateboard have collided while travelling on the Boat Harbour Drive bike corridor between Ann Street and Robert Street.

The e-scooter rider, a 39-year-old Scarness man, died at the scene.

A 30-year-old Urangan man, the electric skateboard rider, was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital with serious injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who have relevant vision that would assist with investigations is urged to contact police.

Investigations, including the circumstances leading up to the crash, remain ongoing.
