Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Wanora

A man has died following a traffic crash in Wanora early this morning.

Just after 5am, a motorcycle and a vehicle travelling on the Brisbane Valley Highway, collided at the intersection of Wanora Road.

The 52-year-old male rider from Boronia Heights was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 43-year-old male driver of the vehicle, from Glamorgan Vale, was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

Brisbane Valley Highway will remain closed at Wanora until at least midday today as officers tend to the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
