A 47-year-old Beenleigh man has died following a single vehicle traffic incident at Waterford West.
At 2am police were called to Beutel Street, following reports of the vehicle leaving the roadway and colliding with a tree.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The 42-year-old passenger, a man from Beenleigh, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses.
