The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a single vehicle roll-over at Advancetown.
Initial investigations indicate at around 1.30pm a sedan was travelling north along Nerang Murwillumbah Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled.
The 75-year-old male passenger was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious head injuries.
The 53-year-old male driver from Oxenford was also transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
