A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after a traffic crash at Boyland in the Scenic Rim, this afternoon.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 4.50pm a utility towing a horse trailer was travelling south east on Mundoolun Connection Road. The driver stopped to turn right into Biddaddaba Road when a motorcyclist hit the back of the horse trailer.
The rider, a 20-year-old Oxenford man, was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the car and her two horses, were not physically injured in the crash.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
