Police responding to serious traffic crash at Crestmead 8 January

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle traffic crash at Crestmead yesterday morning, January 7.

Emergency services were called to the Musa Street address following reports an electric skateboard had crashed.

Upon arrival, the rider, a 23-year-old Crestmead man, was located with a serious head injury.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Initial investigations indicate the man was not wearing a helmet prior to the incident.

Witnesses or anyone with information or relevant vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
