Police responding to serious traffic crash at Little Mountain

Police are investigating a collision between a car and a scooter rider in Little Mountain this afternoon.

Around 6.20pm, a car travelling east on Caloundra Road collided with a male teenager on a scooter at the intersection of Sugarbag Road.

The teenager was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver was not physically injured.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has dashcam vision, is urged to contact police.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
