Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a traffic crash that occurred in Queens Park yesterday, Wednesday 27 July 2022.
About 4.40pm, a police vehicle responding to an incident at priority with its lights and sirens activated, was travelling north on Wharf Street when it collided with a grey Mazda 6 sedan that was also heading north on Wharf Street.
The 34-year-old male driver of the Mazda, and the two police officers from the police vehicle were conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment and released.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or either vehicle travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
