Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a suspicious grassfire in Greenvale last week.
Emergency services were called to the fire in grassland opposite homes on Luster Circuit about 3.30pm on Monday 28 December.
Witnesses have told investigators that a man and woman were seen standing in the area where the grassfire was lit prior to the blaze.
The fire was extinguished before it could spread to residential homes.
Police have released images of a man and woman they believe can assist with their enquiries.
