Police search for man following assaults in Frankston South

Police are investigating after three people were injured in Frankston South this afternoon, 23 August.

It’s believed a man had an altercation with a man on Casuarina Drive just after midday, assaulting him and damaging a vehicle whilst armed with a hockey stick.

The man then assaulted three women walking the vicinity of Sweetwater Creek Reserve a short time later in another unprovoked attack.

A man and two women were treated for minor injuries and a third woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries for observation.

The offender is yet to be located at this stage and has been described as aged in his 30s, Caucasian and had acne scars on face.

He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket and jeans and may be holding a hockey stick or metal pole.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.

It is believed parties involved are not known to each other.
