Police search for missing woman Dakota Lee Nagel

Detectives from the Missing Persons Squad are appealing for public assistance to locate missing woman Dakota Lee Nagel.

The 24-year-old Doncaster woman’s disappearance is considered out of character and her family and police have concerns for her welfare.

At about 2am on Sunday, 8 January Dakota left her Doncaster home with others and headed to the Prahran/South Yarra areas where they visited a number of licensed premises.

During the latter part of Sunday afternoon on 8 January, Dakota parted company with friends she had been with earlier.

She has not contacted friends or loved ones since that time.

On Wednesday 12 January Dakota was reported missing to police by her mother and an investigation commenced.

She has a wide circle of friends and often attends licensed venues in the Prahran area.

At times friends will not hear from her for a day or two, however it is unusual for her not to have contacted anyone for this length of time.

This investigation is now being managed by the Missing Persons Squad who hold concerns for Dakota’s welfare.

Dakota is described as being about 157cm tall with a petite build, blonde hair and blue/grey eyes.

On Sunday 8 January Dakota was wearing a hot pink crop top with a Playboy bunny logo on the front, but it is believed that she may have changed clothes since this time.

Dakota is believed to have been in the Prahran, South Yarra, CBD and Southbank areas since Sunday 8 January.

Police are appealing to Dakota or any person who may have knowledge of her whereabouts to make contact with either police or family.

Police are releasing several images of Dakota in the hope someone can identify her and provide information about her movements since Sunday, 8 January or her current location.

Anyone who sights Dakota is asked to contact triple zero (000) immediately.

Anyone with any other information regarding her disappearance or current whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or log onto www.crimestoppersvic.com.auExternal Link
