Police search for two men after Altona North Burglary

Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify two men following a burglary in Altona North over the weekend.

It’s believed two unknown offenders broke into a Third Avenue residential address sometime between 11.20pm on 12 December and 5.15am on 13 December.

The men stole cash, jewellery and passports before fleeing through the front garage.

No one was home at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.

One man is perceived to be aged between 20 and 30-years-old, with a slim build, and had a distinctive tattoo of a cross on his right calf.

He was wearing shorts, a zip-up jumper and a hat at the time.

The second man had a medium build and was wearing a hooded jumper and track pants.
