Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Mahjiera Lewis.
The 15-year-old girl was last seen at an address in Autumn Court in Hastings yestetrday at 10am.
Police and family members hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and have released an image in the hope someone can provide information on her whereabouts.
Mahjiera is Caucasian in appearance and about 176cm tall with short brown hair and blue eyes.
Mahjiera is known to frequent the Baxter or Somerville areas.
Anyone who sees Mahjiera or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Hastings Police Station on 5970 7800.
