Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 13-year-old boy missing from Nambour since Sunday evening, March 12.

The boy (pictured) is believed to have travelled by train to Brisbane and was last seen on foot in Queen Street, Brisbane City near the intersection of Adelaide Street and has not made contact with friends or family.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age and his disappearance being out of character

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and shorts with a long silver neck chain.

Police appeal to the boy or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact them.
