Police seek help to find missing boy at Tregear

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s west.

Vula Tanuku, aged nine, was last seen in Tregear catching a bus towards Mt Druitt Westfield about 2.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 December 2023).

When he did not return home, officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command commenced extensive inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age, he does not have a mobile phone or any social media.

Vula is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, between 130cm to 140cm tall, of a thin build, short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue footy shorts and a black shirt with a logo on the front.

He is known to frequent the Tregear, Mt Druitt and Blacktown areas, he is also known to frequent public transport.

Anyone with information into Vula’s whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
