Police seek help to find missing boy at Widgee

Police are seeking assistance to locate a 15-year-old boy reportedly missing in the Wrattens Forrest area of Widgee.

The boy (pictured) was last seen by family on Wednesday July 26 in Biloela and by a friend in Kilkivan. He has not been heard from since and was reported missing to police today

Family and police hold concerns they boy may be injured or lost in bushland.

He was wearing a black hoodie, cream shorts, a dark green cap and red, white and black Nike shoes.

A search and rescue operation has been coordinated by local police including SES officers and a rescue helicopter , to help find the boy.

Officers ask local property owners to please check their surrounding for any signs of him.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of the boy are asked to contact police.
