Police seek help to find missing girl at Herston

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 16-year-old girl missing from Herston since this morning, Saturday April 29.

The girl (pictured), was last seen on foot on Bowen Bridge Road near the intersection of Butterfield Street around 7.35am and has not been heard from since.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character and because she has a medical condition which may cause communication difficulties.

She may be in the vicinity of Brisbane City and Fortitude valley.

She is Caucasian, approximately 165cm tall with a proportionate build, and has dark blonde hair in a ponytail with an undercut. She has brown eyes.

The girl may be wearing black shorts with a maroon polo shirt with blue shoulder detail and may be wearing a hoodie.

Police appeal to the girl, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward.
