Police seek help to find missing girl at North Lakes

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 17-year-old girl missing from North Lakes yesterday afternoon, Tuesday January 24.

The girl (pictured) left a Hervey Street address on foot around 3.45pm with plans to use the rail network to travel to Caboolture.

She was last seen on foot at South Bank Railway station around 9.45pm last night and she has not been heard from since.

She may be travelling with a man and they may be using the rail network to travel throughout south-east Queensland.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age and because she has a medical condition which may cause communication difficulties.

She is Caucasian, approximately 160cm tall with a proportionate build and blue eyes, with glasses. She was last seen wearing a black cap sleeved dress with a black jacket and pink and orange ‘Nike’ brand sneakers. She is carrying a pink handbag.

Police appeal to the girl or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact them.
