Police Seek Help To Locate Missing Colac Man Matthew

Police are appealing for public assistance in their search for missing 43-year-old Colac man, Matthew.

Matthew was last seen on 3 June, at Footscray Railway Station at 3.30pm.

He frequents the V/Line services between Colac and Melbourne and uses the Metro service to travel around when in Melbourne.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare as his disappearance is extremely out of character, and he requires medication which he did not have with him.

Matthew is Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black shoes, black tracksuit pants and a zip-up jumper with fluorescent orange upper half and navy lower half.

He was also wearing a black hooded jacket with SCONS written on the back, over the top of the jumper and carrying a black backpack (pictured).

Police have released photos of Matthew hoping someone may recognise him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Colac Police Station on (03) 5232 8200.
