Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Clyde North man Thayaparan who lives with a full-time carer.
The 41-year-old was last seen leaving a Picnic Avenue address in Clyde North to visit Meridian Central Park about 6am today however did not return home.
Police and family are concerned for Thayaparan’s welfare as he has an intellectual disability, does not speak English and has several medical conditions that require regular medication.
On previous occasions when he has gone missing, he was located walking along main roads in the area.
Thayaparan is described as 175cm tall with a solid build, short black hair and was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie, black pants and sandals.
He can speak Tamil and can speak his name in English if asked.
Police have released an image of Thayaparan in the hope that someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Thayaparan is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or anyone who has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Dandenong Police Station on (03) 9767 7444.
