Police are appealing for information following a fire in the state’s west yesterday.
About 12am yesterday (Sunday 2 August 2026), officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District were called to Cooinda Crescent, Dubbo, following reports of a fire.
When Police arrived, they located a house fully engulfed in fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW officers extinguished the blaze; however, the property was extensively damaged.
The home was vacant at the time.
As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone with information about this incident – including mobile phone/dashcam or CCTV footage that relates – to contact Dubbo Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
