Police seek information after robbery in Rhodes

Police are appealing for public assistance following a robbery in Sydney’s west overnight.

About 9pm yesterday (Wednesday 9 December 2020), two males entered a convenience store on Walker Street, Rhodes.

Police have seen told the men threatened a shop attendant and stole money from the till before fleeing the scene.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.

As investigations continue, detectives have released CCTV images of two men they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

The first man is described as being of African appearance, about 170cm tall, aged in his early 20’s and of thin build.

The second man is described as being of African appearance, 185cm tall, aged in his late 20’s and of solid build.

Both men were seen wearing black pants, black hooded jackets, blue surgical face masks and blue disposable gloves.
