Police seek information after stabbing in Eastlakes

Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s south earlier this month.

About 6pm on Monday 6 July 2020, emergency services were called to Gardeners Road, Eastlakes, after reports a man had been injured.

Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command attended and found a 30-year-old man suffering a significant wound to his face.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to Prince of Wales Hospital where he underwent surgery. He has since been released.

An investigation into the incident commenced, and investigators have been told the man was attacked by two unknown men, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, at a set of stairs leading onto Gardeners Road.
