Officers from the Serious Crime Squad are calling for information in relation to an alleged aggravated assault.
The incident occurred at the Parap Shopping Village around midnight on 7 January 2019.
A 54-year-old female was in the vicinity of the Skin Cancer Clinic when she was struck from behind by an unknown person which caused her to fall to the ground. The offender then took the victim’s handbag and left the area.
As a result of being struck the woman sustained fractures to her arm and hip.
Any person who knows the identity of the offender is urged to come forward.
