Police seek information: Armed robbery at Brassall, QLD

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following an armed robbery at Brassall last year.

Investigations indicate that around 6:30pm on October 11, 2021 a man has entered a Pine Mountain Road business and has approached the front counter before reaching for a cash register.

After witnessing the man taking an amount of money from the register, a staff member has confronted the man and attempted to obtain the money back from the man.

The man then verbally threatened the worker and pulled out a large knife and pointed it towards the worker.

The man has then continued to grab money from the register before fleeing through the business’s front door and towards a black motorcycle in a nearby car park.

While fleeing the scene on the motorcycle, a large knife, a bottle of methylated spirits and an amount of money have fallen out of the man’s open bag.

Police have today released CCTV of the man fleeing the business and riding on the black motorcycle.

The man was wearing a black motorbike helmet, yellow rubber cleaning gloves, a large fluorescent orange jacket, long pants and Asics runners.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, spotted the man or may have dashcam footage from around that time to come forward.
