Police seek information: Assault in Petrie, QLD

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or vision following an assault at Wyllie Park in Petrie on Monday morning, January 8.

Investigations indicate between 11am and 11.10am, a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by an unknown man at the park.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in Wyllie Park on Monday morning or has relevant dashcam or other vision to contact police.

Investigators are also appealing to the man to contact police.

The man is described as Asian, aged in his forties with black greying hair. He was wearing a black or grey hoodie and glasses.

Investigations are ongoing.

Wyllie Park is on the western side of Gympie Road between the North Pine River and the trainline overpass.
