Police seek information at Rockhampton

Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man and woman who may be able to assist investigations into an incident at a licensed venue in Rockhampton last night.

At about 11.50pm a man and woman entered a licensed venue on Bolsover Street and became involved in a verbal altercation with a 42-year-old male staff member.

The man has then produced what is believed to be a replica handgun and pointed it at the staff member and pulling the trigger.

The man and woman have then left the licensed venue through the carpark towards Alma Street.

The man is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, mid 30’s, about 170-180cm tall with black facial hair. He was seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jumper and black ¾ shorts, red shoes with white socks.

The woman is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, about 160cm tall, proportionate build and was seen wearing a grey hoodie, black tights and black thongs.

Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man and woman to come forward.

The staff member was not injured in the incident.
