Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a woman was allegedly assaulted in Katherine overnight.
Just after 11pm, police located a woman near the Katherine Information Centre who stated an unknown man had assaulted her.
The woman was taken to Katherine Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the incident and urge anyone within the area between 10pm and midnight to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference number 10484445.
