Police seek information on Domestic violence – Moulden

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a domestic violence incident in Moulden overnight.

At 8:40pm, the Joint Emergency Service Communication Centre (JESCC) received reports that a female had been assaulted by her 36-year-old male partner on Schombacher Circuit.

The victim is in a serious condition in Royal Darwin Hospital suffering from a number of fractured ribs and head injuries.

Detectives from the Domestic and Family Violence Section are expected to charge the 36-year-old with:

• Recklessly endangering serious harm

• Aggravated assault

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Jon Beer said “This was a completely senseless, cowardly, violent act.

“Investigations are ongoing and police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dash-cam footage, to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10154013.”
