Police seek information on Ram raid – Woolner

Northern Territory Police have arrested a youth in relation to a ram raid in Woolner yesterday.

At 4:50am, a white Mitsubishi triton carrying two offenders was used in a ram raid at a business on Charlton Court. Once inside the offenders stole a quantity of electrical equipment before fleeing the scene.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident identified a 15-year-old male from CCTV at the location. At 7:20pm the same day, detectives with assistance from general duties, arrested the youth and he has since been charged with:

  • 1 x Damage to property
  • 1 x Aggravated unlawful entry
  • 1 x Stealing
  • 2 x Breach bail

He was remanded to appear in court tomorrow.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said “Investigations to identify the remaining offender are ongoing and we are requesting anyone with information to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10166157.”
