Northern Territory Police are calling for the victim of a bag snatch in the Alice Springs CBD area late last week, to contact police.
On Friday 3 June just before 3pm, a woman was walking in the Hartley Street carpark when she was approached by three male youths, one of whom is alleged to have grabbed the woman’s bag.
The youths were last seen running off towards the Yeperenye underground carpark.
Security reported the incident to police, and the bag was later located and handed into police, by a member of the public.
Police are calling for the victim and any witnesses to the incident, to contact them by calling 131 444 or via the Alice Springs Police Station front counter.
Strike Force Viper have identified one of the youths involved. Investigations continue.
