Police seek information on Stealing in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged stealing in Alice Springs earlier today.

At about 8:20am, a 26-year-old female was at a café in the Todd Mall when her handbag was stolen by an unknown male who then fled from the location. The handbag was subsequently recovered.

Police are seeking public assistance to identify the male who is described as being in his mid to late teens and is of Aboriginal appearance. The male was wearing a yellow and brown basketball shirt with ‘BRYANT’ written on the back and a camouflage hat. Images of the male are attached.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident, or knowledge of the identity of the male, is urged to notify police on 131 444 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference number 9124291.
