Northern Territory Police are calling for information after multiple grass fires had started in the bushland off Murrumujuk Drive, Gunn Point on Wednesday 8 September 2021.
Firefighting crews had responded to multiple grass fires last week in the Gunn Point area which are deemed to be suspiciously lit on a fire ban day. Police believe a vehicle sighted in the area can assist with enquiries.
Sergeant George Watkinson said, “Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time or who may recognise the vehicle. Please contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference 9789335.
