Police seek information over suspicious fire – Brookvale

Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a suspicious fire on the Northern Beaches.

Just after 7pm on Monday (10 July 2023), emergency services were called to Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale, following reports of an industrial unit fire.

On arrival, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command found three units within the complex well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW contained and extinguished the fire. No one was inside at the time and there were no reported injuries.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident with the assistance of State Crime Command, Arson Squad.

As inquiries continue, police are keen to speak with any witnesses on the night or anyone with further information, including mobile phone or dashcam footage, to contact Northern Beaches police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
